At Big Big Table, guests are invited to exchange money, time, or groceries in exchange for their meal. Their pay-as-you-can model strives to promote healthy individuals and communities.
The Tool Library empowers communities with the resources to drive positive change. The Tool Library, a volunteer-run nonprofit in Buffalo's University Heights, lends over 3,000 tools for a small annual fee, ensuring accessibility for individuals, organizations, and businesses. Their commitment extends to community projects, fostering civic engagement through initiatives like clean-ups, tree-plantings, gardens, and art installations! Adjacent to the Tool Library, the Community Laboratory ('CoLab') serves as a hands-on workshop space, promoting skill-sharing and knowledge exchange to strengthen community bonds.
